NEW CORPORATE IDENTITY: FARMINGTONS GROUP BECOMES WELP GROUP
Georgsmarienhütte. For many years, Farmingtons Holding GmbH has been the strategic head of its subsidiaries. These present themselves as individual companies with their own ranges of service. Yet, there is far more to the individual subsidiaries behind the holding: each one is an innovative company that offers its customers a high-performance range of products and services, ranging from development to the start of the series production of automotive parts and armoured vehicles.
Many customers had no idea that behind Farmingtons Holding GmbH, FARMINGTONS AUTOMOTIVE GmbH, IndiKar Individual Karosseriebau GmbH and pgam advanced technologies ltd. a far wider range of services exist than those presented by the individual subsidiaries. “That had to change,”, said CEO Matthias Reckmann. As of 13.10.2014, our new corporate identity will be publicised. Under the strong brand name WELP HOLDING, created in recognition of owner and managing partner Nina Welp, both the parent company and subsidiaries will, from now on, stand side by side under a new company logo. With a uniform corporate design and a powerful online presence, the company can now present itself as a collective and effective unit in every product and service area that it provides.
The new image unequivocally communicates our corporate structure and affiliation: one company, five sites, and a comprehensive range of products and services: development, prototyping, toolmaking, series production, armouring solutions and special vehicles – all under one roof. The driving force behind: the WELP GROUP.
The Group’s new banner “The Driving Force Behind” reflects the successful collaborations that exist between the divisions and business units. Behind each performance module within the WELP GROUP and the associated know-how is cross-functional knowledge of upstream and downstream processes. “A special driving experience for customers and employees alike,” says CEO Ronald Gerschewski. “Only by doing so can we also be the driving force behind our customers in future.”
The Welp Group operates internationally in two core segments: Automotive and Special Vehicle Construction. The services provided by the Automotive division range from development to prototyping and toolmaking and the small batch production of vehicle components for the automotive industry. In Armoured Vehicles Construction, the company specialises in developing and constructing armoured and special vehicles. Moreover, armouring solutions are developed and manufactured for premium suppliers in the automotive industry.
The roots of the medium-sized enterprise established in Osnabrück extend as far back as 1979. Today, the WELP GROUP has over 350 employees at its German production sites and national as well as international sales and service points.
